Well done to two of our youth sailors who crewed on J22's at the recent Northern Region Provincial Championships. Scott Quarmby crewed as foredeck on the winning J22 and Tamsin Gennisen (also doing foredeck) was on the boat that finished third. Well done this is a great achievement in a seriously competitive fleet.

The awards dinner went very well with a good attendance. The Dinner was excellent. A big thank you to Elsabie Templeton and her friend Lynette, and staff Margaret, Frans and Peter.
The tables looked beautiful with flower arrangements and settings “Thank You” to Doreen Hughes.

The 2009/2010 sailing season has come to a close; the AGM was held; the old committee thanked for their efforts of the past year; the new committee elected and tasked to address key issues in the new season; the winter off season activities have started in preparation for the new season. Therefore I wish to take this opportunity to thank the past Committee for their support and commitment in making our club one of the most successful dingy clubs in South Africa over the past year. However, I wish to point out that is directly related to the commitment of our members, therefore wish for you to consider the following that was sent to me:
